OVERVIEW
========

This latest release of the Developers Kit includes several new
features & programs requested by our customers. Each release
builds on the previous, and to date, we have not removed any
items (even if dated, or limited in scope). The primary
purpose of the Kit is to provide tools & examples to developers
who are implementing IMG software, and want quick & no-nonsense
solutions to the problems they may run into when working in
unfamiliar territory.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Refer to the DVKITDOC folder for the latest documentation.
In Version 1.72, web site info has also been included.
(Current to date of Developer's Kit release - always check
the Developer's Corner on the web for the most up-to-date info).

NEW FEATURES IN 1.72
====================

The DevKit utilities CPYCNMTS and FWCTLMTS have been updated
with Win32 API calls to resolve incompatibility with Microsoft's
handling of the executable code (that were compiled under
Visual C++ Version 6, SP3, tested under Win98) that created
read-only files in NT/2000/XP.
Internet Explorer integration example with WebSync.
User Utilities added: TurnAway, WCRemap (OnScreen)
Developer Utilities added: ShowInfo, WaitRun

NEW FEATURES IN 1.71
====================

The 1.70 release of My-T-Soft / My-T-Pen / My-T-Touch ends the
support of Windows 3.x. 1.61 is the last release of My-T-Pen &
My-T-Touch that supports 16-bit windows / Windows 3.x.  In
making the break, the Developer's Kit has been completely
updated to support only the Win32 platforms.
The Devkit folder has a VC6 Workspace that contains all the
Developer's Kit utilities.
SDSTRMTS has been updated for the Win32 versions - passing
a global handle is no longer supported, so a file based
"string" is used.
New additions include the CTALTDEL (Ctrl-Alt-Delete software
emulation for the Secure Attention Sequence (SAS) in Windows
NT/2000, restart system in 95/98/Me) - Source code is included.
The MTSVBDLL has been generalized and placed in MTSDLL - this
also adds the GetXYMTS & GetXYWnd which can retrieve top-left,
bottom-right, and width-height for My-T-Soft or a generic
window. Also includes an MS-Access MDB with example code
for integrating the DLL.
Also included is the MTSEdit COM control that can manipulate
My-T-Soft based on properties set within the control.
KeyboardSync has been added to automatically synchronize the
My-T-Soft display with the current selected keyboard layout
(locale) within Windows.
There is also a KeyWatch utility to display scan codes and
keystroke information - originally developed for comparison
checking & debugging.

NEW FEATURES IN 1.70
====================

There is a new folder (VBASIC) that has Visual Basic Examples,
along with a DLL (Dynamic Link Library) that incorporates all of
the features of the stand-alone EXE / Source files found in
previous versions. This DLL is integrated into Microsoft's
Visual Basic, but can be included in any high-level development
platform that allows for DLL calls. Source is included!

The MTSSTART utility has been included. This allows manipulation
of the executable at startup to automatically minimize to a button.
Created for an OEM that was using the logon options in the
Win 95/98 version.

NEW FEATURES IN 1.51
====================

There is a new folder (MSECLKS) that has executables that generate
mouse clicks (single click, double-click, chord) for each mouse
button. These were asked for by a customer, and we have included
them to enable features & options within other applications, and
resolve keyboard focus issues that some applications create.

NEW FEATURES IN 1.50
====================

The CNTRLMTS (Control & Select My-T-Soft) utility allows a selection
of 1-4 buttons that float in the caption bar, and allow a selection
of different configurations of My-T-Soft / My-T-Pen / My-T-Touch.

LOGOS.ZIP is now included in the LOGOS folder instead of on the
distribution disk.

Each folder has a text document with info, and there is also a
DEVKTDOC folder that has a single document with full Developer
Kit documentation.

FWCTLMTS utility that toggles panels off-screen if on-screen,
and reconfigures with command line parameter if off-screen.
Originally meant for CNTRLMTS button utility when the user needs
to call up panel(s) and then put them "away".
